So I am feeling a little nostalgic today. This year is my 10 year class reunion. and so I could get in touch with everyone so I could be found basically. I registered on myspace with my highschool. through this I found a couple of my best friends. One I haven't spoken to since just after I got home from my mission and the other( who I was roomates with just before my mission) I haven't spoken to, other than a brief update 2or three years ago over email, since I went on my mission. I learned the bothe live in boise just 1 1/2 hours away. Katie the one I lived with doesn't keep in contact with anyone from our hometown except her parents. and Tessa my other friend from 2nd grade through high school, is better friends with people she barely communicated with in high school than she is with either katie or myself.
anyway I come to my point....
We all care so much about the friends we have in high school and other times in our lives. Then we get to a point where, excepting a very few elite people, we lose touch. we hardly even think about these people who we thought were so vital to our existance. I don't know maybe it is just me and my incompetence in communicating with others over a distance.
To those of you with whom I have lost touch. I am sorry. for those of you who keep in touch with me thank you cause you probably know by now how bad I am at it. Sorry
