naughty me

so I said I was going to do pics and post them and I didn't as you can see. I unexpectedly went out of town. I was planning to take pictures of gabby playing in the snow but that didn't happen cause I got to busy to take her out to play. so I am sorry.

well I have been up at my parent's house for about a week and a half and I am enjoying spending time with my family. Gabby is loving staying at grandma and grandpa's house but she misses her daddy but he will be here this weekend. It has been a much needed break away from the norm. and mom and dad have given me some time for myself which I can't get at home because david is so busy finishing up with school. so I feel great. I get to work running kareoke for a friend this weekend because his family will be out of town so it is a blessing to have a little extra money coming in this time of year. well that is about all that is going on.

so if you couldn't tell I was having a kinda down day last time I posted. but I am doing better now. for em : I don't have any new pics yet. but I will take some this weekend because tarren has changed a ton already. He smiled at me for the first time on tuesday. it was the highlight of the past month. Thanksgiving wasn't a huge day for me because david had to work. but after he got off we went to his parents for dinner. almost his entire family was there minus his oldest sister Jeanie. We all had a blast. It was so great to see everybody. then the day after I forced his sister Ginger into coming shopping with me at 5am that was a blast. It was great having someone to go with. I am looking forward to Christmas with my family in Salmon. Then we have Tarren's blessing the first week in Jan. (em if you want to come I would just love having you there) well that is about it for now.

Ode to great friends

I have just been thinking about all the great friends I have had over the years. And to all of you I would like to say thanks!!!! It is all of you who make my life so wonderful. I think we truly learn the value of something once it is gone. At this time, when the nearest of my friends is 2 1/2 hours away I realize what you all mean to me and have done for me. since I have had children I am not really social at all no matter how much I want to be I just find it very difficult to get out and make new friends. So just to let you all know...I miss you!

This is Tarren, the newest member of our family.

He was born on 0ct. 23. he is a very calm and pleasant baby (as long as you don't try to touch him). He likes to be left alone unless you are feeding him.

Gabby just adores him. She is so helpful and loving. She holds him every chance she gets and tries to feed him every time she notices his bottle setting somewhere. It is so adorable.
